GECON is an Interior Design and Building company consisting of husband and wife. Both are very passionate about creating not only beautiful and aesthetically pleasing spaces but also spaces that are functional for daily living. With over 20 years experience in the industry with building and project management we strive to make our clients feel at ease and confident when working with us. We use trustworthy and reliable trades whom we have had many years experience with.
Our combined services allows us to guide the client through conceptual and detailed design stages through to project managing construction on-site, product sourcing and styling, we ensure the highest level of quality from start to finish.

PROJECT PROCESS

THE BRIEF/CONSULTATION
Within the brief we will look at what you, the client wishes to achieve from the design service. We consider all aspects of the project including time scale, budget, structural and documentation demands. Once this has been achieved we will send through a proposal of works outlining all relevant information including estimated costs.

CONCEPT
(Quoted and invoiced separately )
Within the concept stage we will document the design, including floor planning, proposed furniture or joinery layouts and any structural changes. Any mood board imagery and proposal of finishes. We will be in constant contact throughout this stage to be sure both parties are on the same page. An agreement and finalised quote will be sent for client approval and signing.

AGREEMENT
Once concept stage has been approved we can start to progress on the design and detail stage. Any furniture, joinery or interior drawings will be finalised and presented for approval. Along will all final finishes and materials for clients to approve.

PROJECT COMMENCES
The schedule of works will be outlined and approved. Once all onsite requirements are approved and signed off the project will commence. Bothe the builder and designer will be on site to oversee the project and to make sure it is going as planned. Regular planned meetings will be held to discuss any queries that either party have.
Any variations to the project will be documented and signed off.

PROJECT HANDOVER
Once the project has been completed we will have a handover meeting with you outlining any relevant documentation from the project.
